Valpesia N is a variety from the INRAE-ResDur3 series. The variety exhibits very good resistance to downy mildew, total resistance to powdery mildew, and limited partial resistance to black rot. Of medium vigor and with a semi-erect growth habit, the variety is highly susceptible to potassium deficiency. The variety has medium to high yield potential with moderately compact clusters. The red wines produced from the Valpesia N variety are high-quality, colorful, structured, balanced, and fruity, with spicy notes and supple tannins.
