The Selenor B variety was selected by INRAE as part of the ResDur2 program. Its resistance to fungal diseases is described as follows: very high resistance to downy mildew, total resistance to powdery mildew, partial resistance to black rot, and good tolerance to botrytis. Selenor B has medium vigor and sprawling shoots that require careful trellising. It is a fertile but low-yielding variety due to its small, loose clusters composed of small berries. The wines produced from this variety are lightly aromatic with floral notes.
