The Artys B variety was developed by INRAE as part of its ResDur2 program. It was officially registered in the catalogue in December 2024. Artys B has polygenic resistance, providing good resistance to downy mildew and complete resistance to powdery mildew. It also has good resistance to botrytis. Its sensitivity to black rot is notable, so monitoring its condition and development is necessary. This variety is vigorous with a semi-erect growth habit and has satisfactory production potential. Wines made from this variety are fresh, powerful, aromatic, with mineral and smoky notes.
